Tiffany is originally from Florida and graduated from Western Carolina with a degree in Communications. Shortly after college, Tiffany and Scott met, fell head-over-heels in love and were married in 1999. She is the mother and proud parent of their three children, Baxley, Wyatt and Ivy.

Tiffany serves on several non-profit boards, is an entrepreneur and equestrian rider.

Tiffany focuses on health and wellness while enjoying yoga, hiking, biking and all things outdoors. She is also a huge animal lover!

Wyatt Smith

Wyatt enjoys winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding and other activities such as football, lacrosse, bird hunting, camping, fishing, motorsports. Wyatt is also an avid long range rifle shooter.

Wyatt interned at Sonic Automotive during the Summer of 2023 and worked as a ranch had at OBR in 2024. He is interested in continuing the next generation in the family businesses and ranching.

Scott is the Co-Founder and retired CEO of Sonic Automotive, Inc., a Fortune 300 Company (Listed as NYSE: SAH). He is also Co-Founder of EchoPark Automotive. Scott is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Sonic Automotive.

Scott is also the Co-Owner of Speedway Motorsports (Formerly Listed as NYSE: TRK).

Scott stepped away from the day-to-day operations of these large businesses in 2018 to spend more time with the family.

B Scott Smith

Baxley is a Senior at the University of Tennessee and is pursuing a business degree. This past summer, she interned at the ranch and at Tattoo Projects Advertising.

She loves animals, especially dogs, and would like to have a dog rescue on the ranch. Baxley is interested in using her business degree in one of the family businesses.

Ivy “Giggles” Smith

Ivy, also known as “Giggles,” is a huge animal lover and equestrian.

Ivy has been riding since 2019. She has also been champion in the hunters and equitation at shows such as Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show, World Equestrian Center, Tryon International Equestrian Center, Sedgefield at the Park, Aiken Fall Festival, Duke Charity Horse Shows.

vy had a fantastic 2024.

Ivy and her ponies ribboned at all the major shows - Devon, Pony Finals, Harrisburg and WIHS.

Ivy’s small pony ‘Whinny the Blue’ aka Puff was the Zone 3 Champion Small Pony Horse Of The Year for the second year in a row.

Puff was also the highest scoring Small Pony at Pony Derby Championships for the second year in a row.

Ivy currently sits in 8th in the Nation of lifetime money won in Pony Derbies out of 1439 riders.

In 2024 Ivy finished 1st in points for the USHJA Zone 3 Pony Derby standings.

Ivy aged out of the Small Pony Division with Puff at the end of 2024, but has a small green (Prince), a medium (Bella), and a large (Remi) through Pony Finals 2025 - and has also started showing some horses.

So far in 2025 with the horses, she has qualified for Jump Seat Finals (which happens during the Capital Challenge Horse Show) and the USHJA Hunt Seat Medal Finals.

She showed over the winter at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit and finished up Circuit Reserve Champion in the Green Ponies as well as the Pony Equitation.

Ivy also enjoys the jumper ring - especially the classics on Sundays!

Ivy thinks that she wants to have a horse rescue and possibly be an equestrian trainer when she grows up.
